  • Yeah, I haven't do a 25 in a while. But I think no bottle and couple gels/drink before start.

    Compared yesterday with Liam, until things went south I was down I was ~30sec down at 60 miles.

    Really weird. It was for sure bonk, as I felt great, legs good, breathing good. Not hurting, just riding good. And then bam, nothing.

  • I don't bother with drinks in 25s now. I think 50s are the threshold where I'll carry a bottle and 100s where I'll carry gels too. I wouldn't mind trying the bladder thing maybe in this weekend's 50 - did you really just get one of those Platypus things and stuff it down your skinsuit? Do you use an undershirt or anything?

  • You could've rolled to the finish and probably still got some prize money!
