I usually run with a rack and brakeless and its fine, even with a 60kg person sat on the front. -

Seconding so hard. Brakeless plus rack is so fucked. Had to work like that after a my front brake died yesterday.
It looks good for photos. but if you are loading the rack/riding hills it's undeniably rubbish.
