She's an attention seeking right wing fascist arsehole.

I can't belive this isn't being called what it is.
Terrorism.I really pray one of the big newspapers calls it out and spashes it tomorrow. Please.

No disagreement here. She's, rightfully, being roasted. Her addiction to twitter and the attention it affords her has left a trove of old tweets where she's said the exact opposite when the shoe was on a more Islamic foot.

To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if Mensch's relationship to Twitter could be classes as mental illness.
-
• #41256
And arguing mentally ill does not work as an excuse to distance yourself.
You could argue the point that every terrorist is mentally ill.It takes someone mentally ill to commit a terrorist act.
Terrorism; 'The unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims'.
It's terrorism plain and square. I'm disgusted by the racism of the general media.

Pictures of Twitter of Mair behind a Britain First banner in Dewsbury last year, and looks like he was at their training camp in Wales. I trust the leadership will be arrested and charged with creating a terrorist organisation.

I don't necessarily see how his mental health problems diminishes the responsibility of the organisations/groups he is affiliated with.
Boko Haram use kids to carry out suicide attacks. I don't hear anyone saying; "Oh, it was just some crazy 8 year old kid who went too far and blew himself up, please don't let that reflect badly on the people who trained him." -

I don't think there's anything wrong with his state of mind at all.
He's probably at the very edge of the spectrum of what society would call normal, but he's clearly had to think about what he calls himself.
I can guarantee that when this goes to court, his team will go for manslaughter as a result of diminished responsibility based on his sanity or lack thereof.

Makes no difference really. Life in prison or life in a secure psychiatric hospital, both equally grim.
-
• #41264
Prison you pick what drugs you get jacked up on from a small list of what can be smuggled in assholes, secure psychiatric hospital they pick for you but the drugs won't have been in an asshole yet.

What's important is not how he gets locked up, but whether the wider public sees him as a loner or a terrorist. He's the latter, there's a risk everyone will paint him as the former because they don't want to believe white nationalist terrorism.

Daily Mail on Sunday is backing the in campaign. Well I never.
-
• #41269
Sunday Times backing Leave while the Times backs Remain.
Does this have any bearing on people's opinions? I suppose you do read the Sunday papers in a more leisurely way...
-
• #41270
The papers are reflecting how the readership is expected to vote. It's all to do with the demogrpahics.
-
• #41271
So Mail on Sunday readers aren't as racist as their Daily brethren?

no point in going all in with it still being to close to call -

Story in the guardian was the Murdoch is in the leaves came but gave each times editors the choice. And that there has been a lot of internal conflict about those choices
