  • 1x 4eva! Don't have a 1x equipped-road bike, but two other bikes are telling you - do it!

  • Really... I hate resellers.

  • Yep it will fit just fit bluemels 35's but no brazeons unfortunately so have to use p-clips.
How is your single chainring? I've only dropped it once when I shifted up the whole cassette, otherwise its been fine. I'd forgotten what a pain friction shifting is in heavy traffic though, id really like a trigger shifter so may have to switch to Shimano /sram at some point. Maybe theres a jtek shiftmate that would work

Up hill is definitely more of a challenge!

  • I need worry no more :)

  • Kuota Kalibur has a tapered head tube. Top is 1 1/8, bottom is 1 1/4 (as marked on forks/headset). Installed currently is a Stronglight semi-integrated headset. The forks are cracked on the carbon steerer. The headset is shot, needs replacing entirely.

I want to run 1 1/8 forks with Alu steerer.

Is the "Cannondale Synapse Alloy Lower Headset Reducer Cup Kit - KP172" correct for reducing a 1/4 to 1/8, to allow me a regular 1 1/8 threadless headset? It is half the price of the other reducers I have found.

  • Added Restrap diagonals, pizza rack & the forum favourite flite and inline post

  • Decals time.

  • Old Rychtarski frame with new custom stem by Pi

  • Maan. Lusting for some lugged Max again..

  • New Road project!
@Glanton the paint is good and the welds are very neat. I got this for around usd 900 straight from colossi, included are Headset, seatpost collar, frame and full carbon fork.

  • ah very tempted myself. Definitely wanna see how this progresses.

  • Thought I'd give risers a shot

Need to cut down the steerer on the forks, and will probably swap out the black Seatpost for a silver one to match the stem

Overall though quite enjoying my first foray into fixed!

  • Langster in dad mode

  • Holding up well, has dropped off a couple of times but not too bothered to look for an immediate fix. Still thinking about a slightly smaller front ring for trundling around town.

  • Great ebay pick up, wheres the original fork?

  • Am keeping it safe in my stash of bits and bobs :)

  • Looking good :)

  • How much do you find the seat affects the ride for you? Planning on using one soon but I'm a little concerned on how stable it will be and frankly a bit scared that bike & child are going to tip sideways.

  • I've only put it on so haven't gotten used to it yet. I had it much higher with no rack and the handling was awful. Lowered it and put the rack back on and seems a little better. It actually handles better with the kid in it. It flexes a bit which feels weird but acts like a shock absorber. The creche is only a few mins from my house so I'll be taking it very handy with him in it.

TLDR; It weighs a ton and handles like shit but the young lad loves it.

  • I have a full 6700 Specialized tarmac sl3...boom!

  • Just about finished with this. Hoods need replacing and have just stripped and repainted some Gipiemme Crono Special pedals. Also want to change out gear cable housing.
