1983 Gazelle Champion Mondial AA special Super Sport 753R frameset

Something very rare and unique I have for sale this time. It's an Champion Mondial AA special made out of 753R tubing. According to the first owner the frame was factory repainted in 1989. Belonged to a former Pro who lived in Kleve, a small german town near the Dutch border. Frame is heavily used so it has some paint chips here and there. Last owner also fitted some fenders, you can see the paint damage on the seatstays. It has n0 structural damage like cracks or dents. Framenumber is 3280294 which dates it 1983. That was also the first year that the AA special was produced, which makes this frame again extra special, since it is probably one of the first AA special Super Sport frame's.

Back in 1983 this was the most expensive model, made from Reynolds 753 R tubing. Price of the frame at the time was around EUR 1200 ( 2400 gulden). For the complete bike, equipped with a Super Record group (which weighed only 9.3 kg) you had to pay EUR 2200 ( 4400 gulden). When I bought the bike it came with a Campagnolo 50th anniversary groupset.

If 753 why is the seat diameter 26.6 not 27.2?

seems 753 comes in a variety of sizes, none of which appear to be 26.6
my sb was a 27.2

753 came in a range of sizes.

I believe there was variations in tube diameter in older 753 tubesets. It may possibly have something to do with it being a smaller frame possibly. I have a 753R frame from 1985 and it takes 27.2 but i'm sure i've read about smaller sized one's out there.
