  • My FTP isnt far off Yours. I'm also more of an endurance cyclist. Yet I cant hold proper sweetspot for 20mins on the turbo without having a little cry and needing a cuddle. Its mainly set up. But I also fucking hate turbo training.

    Get the heart rate up. If it wont ramp up to meet Yours legs needs. Your too tired.

  • I train on a spare TT bike so that's not so much of an issue re setup. I guess HR isn't a great indicator of effort but it's all I have at the mo. Perceived effort was higher than I was expecting.

    I'm lucky as I can hold my FTP on the turbo for 20 mins quite well mentally.
