On reflection, I'm pretty sure when its cold the resistance is higher, as it warms up the viscosity of the fluid decreases and it becomes easier.
That is my understanding. It's how most oils work, no?
So for it to get harder - are you sure it wasn't just you heating up / higher RPE?
Defo not the case for me. Easily pushing the big ring, middle of the block early on then it just builds and becomes really heavy.
