I have one, and yes, when its cold the resistance is lower compared to once the fluid is warmed up. If you're going to be using it for virtual power I suggest you ignore the reported power figures for the first 10 minutes or so.
As I suspected. It throws shorter sessions out the window for me as I can't rely on the figures for at least 15-20 mins.
It seems counterintuitive that the resistance builds as the fluid becomes more viscose?
