What is happening to this country? This ill conceived referendum has
dragged us back to days that I thought were long gone, with mainstream
politicians being openly racist.As Jo Cox said in her maiden speech to Parliament, "We are far more united and have far more in common than that which divides us." Worth remembering right now.
Horrible, horrible news. The worst. Jo was a friend of a friend, but putting that aside, was also a mum with two kids who'd only just entered her 40s, and who was doing some great work. Just horrific.
