Stack height :)

@MCamb - @Thrasher - stack height only is not enough. they don't have any engraving or a groove on the side. they look like the gran sport but the top race has 8 sides for the wrench whereas the gran sport only has 2.

That's really really nice, love the colour. Not a fan of the high profile rims on this though.

Got my Bianchi Ragno back with a fresh powder coat. Quite a metamorphosis. Decals have been ordered.

Coaster brake wheelset and a front rack to follow.

It was way too beat up and rusty and I didn't like the graphics too much either :). I can appreciate different styles but this was lacking in quality imo.

The paint was butt f@k ugly, put me in mind of the worst of early 90s poly fleece.

Build this up again for gnarpark tomorrow, aero meter is currently at 110%. Much aero

Not a fan of the high profile rims on this though.

I have various sets of wheels from that period (C Record hubs & Mavic Sup rims; C Record hubs & Campa Sigma Pavé tubular rims) so when the bike is ready, I'll try and see what's best.

Update:

Need to remove the cranks so I can instal the Athena's.
Also not sure about the white hoods though, might get some black..

why is the front wheel not ratty as everything else? :)

You mean the frameset that was bought for a good price on here and flipped on eBay?

Thinking a new groupset may happen in a few months so it's either sram rival 22 (performance isn't with the price bump on force 22, though cranks are nice)

Or I'll go 1X. 40t up front and 32t-12t rear. I'm not racing on it or trying to put in big times on strava (only uphill segments count anyway) so I don't see the need for 2x10. Thoughts?
