Is my rim dead?

No idea what happened, but cycling home, noticed the rim rubbing my brake. Got off and walked it home.

Checked the rim and saw this... Not good.

Fixable? Or do I start looking for a new rim...?

That would make for a more interesting explanation... The spoke has started to pull through the hole and it's gone totally slack in that area of the rim.
