Right... I was far too busy to be dicking around with this today but the weather was lovely and I rediscovered this thread a few days ago and decided to revive it.
Old was the ruin of Godstone Nunnery

jma133 have you got a pic of Wheatsheaf Passage? I can only see a new location pic.

Right, let's get this thing going again. Rules are:
Look at the last tag If you know where it is, or can find out... get yourself and your bike there Take photo of your bike at the location Go elsewhere and take a photo of your bike at another location Post both photos on here Tell people where the old tag was Don't tell people where the new tag is If needed (obviously non-obvious), offer obscure clues as to the new tag location
Bike Tag Guidelines:
Old and new tags must have the same bicycle Old tag isn't taken until the new tag is posted (post them at the same time) Tags must be within the Oxford ring road (-ish) Tag locations must be freely accessible to the public No reflection porn No blank or near blank walls
Old tag was Farmoor Reservoir, a bit outside Oxford but cool location.

Woah! Don't know what happened there!
New tag is at a place where you can buy stuff for cycling (and presumably 9 other sports).

Thanks, good to be here. It's not just the two of us collecting these tags is it?
:-p

I think it is at the moment, the Oxford forum has been quiet for a while, hopefully a few more locals will discover it.

I'm local but can't play much as I live out in the countryside.
Also I don't know where the tag is...

I don't know where the tag is...
If you can make out what's in the background of the photo, Google can sort the rest.

I worked it out with google, never knew this place existed! I just haven't been in Oxford with my bike recently.

I have an idea where that might be but will have to go there and see if I'm right!
In the meantime I've updated the google map with all the previous tag locations. Handy if anyone wants to revisit these places, plan a ride or whatever.

Old tag, the underpass towards the west end of Marston Ferry Road;
New tag, had to get this quick before 'bad light stopped play';
-
• #123
Took a bit of googling but I know where this is!

Old tag was St Edward's School Cricket Pavillion off Woodstock Road.

New tag is a cycle related mural in an area known for its walls, and near a road sign that sometimes gets rudely altered.

No. I know exactly where that is.
