technically he is a lodger but i also want to keep it amicable and keep our friendship as much in tact as possible, i also share a studio with him which is another factor in why things got so tense.
I never wanted to just 'boot him out' but rather wanted to know what other people's views on 'reasonable' notice are.. anyway, done now. cheers jt

Legally then I guess they are a lodger and yes you can boot em out with very little notice at all.
