technically he is a lodger but i also want to keep it amicable and keep our friendship as much in tact as possible, i also share a studio with him which is another factor in why things got so tense.
I never wanted to just 'boot him out' but rather wanted to know what other people's views on 'reasonable' notice are.. anyway, done now. cheers jt

i have a bit of a quandary and am wondering if anyone can help.
I own my own home, and live there with my gf. about six months ago we invited a friend to come live with us. to cut a long story short we are now very unhappy with the living situation and want to return to just the two of us. there is no contract and no formal agreement, is one month reasonable notice?
