Ah, they're very different tyres, the old and new.
The old ones are think, high RR and won't leak air.
The pro (new) ones are more supple, thinner (as good PP) (hence loose a little air) and very very low RR.

I read that the old Ones were pretty good on RR and the new were only slightly better. CBA to find the reference now, but the old Ones certainly feel like fast tyres and they are made of soft, thin, grippy rubber, so I'll settle for that.
Not having to pump them up might be worth more time than the RR difference!

I've never got my hands on one pros; they were like hen's teeth when I was trying to buy some a couple of months ago. I've used the old Ones and they are great - very little air loss. I've got a new pair of those which I'll likely use for the TCR. I had heard that the Pros lost a bit more air though.
