  • Agreed, that's quite a small area!

  • I've always thought a bigger area would get more interested. It seems quite a small group that does this. As for not knowing them, google images and Google fu usually finds them.

I found this one in 5 mins without having a fucking clue where or what it was.

I'm at the Sandbar on Saturday. If it's not gone then I'll grab it after a few beers.

  • I don't think there's fewer decent tag spots, I think you've just got to be a little more creative. Been working for Deliveroo for the last 6 months and being round the centre of town 6 days a week has made me realise how many little nooks and crannies town has, there's an abundance of possible tags, and I reckon I could get a few of the lads at work to join in to give it a bit of pace again.

  • It is a small area, obviously tags outside those 5 stations would be alright, but I reckon bringing the area in quite a bit might make this game a bit more interesting. As for now, if you don't know where a tag is and can't find it, you can be waiting weeks for a new one to be posted. Would be more fun if not knowing where a tag was would only be a problem for a couple o days.

  • What's your radius for Deliveroo? The new tag is less than 4 miles from Oxford Rd station...

  • We deliver in a sort of rectangle box. centre of town downwards to the curry mile (basically up and down oxford road). And we go up to the green quarter northwise. Occasionally go into salford west-wise or to the most eastern side of ancoats. I'll be keeping an eye out for this if it's close though!

  • Riders will find even more nooks and crannies in the wider area if they explore it a bit surely?

That said, a slightly smaller area than m60 was suggested early on in this thread: https://www.lfgss.com/comments/9255898/ edit: I'd include a dot at Northenden tho so as to include Chorlton & Didsbury fully as many are S.Manc based.

The pace of the game isn't really a big problem IMO... if it ain't broke n'all that.

  • Yeah i guess whatever then.. who cares...

  • Problem for me is that everything is outside my usual riding area

  • I rarely ride in the middle of town, or near oxford/wilslow road at the moment.

  • And i dont know the city very well yet, kinda new in mcr. :P

  • what about putting it on Facebook? leeds fixed gear do their bike tag through Facebook and it seems really popular

  • Isn't that half the point of this? Finding out about parts of this fair city you might not otherwise see.

  • ^that's half the reason I started the game.

  • Yeah, i love to discover Manchester its great and can ride anywhere if i only would know where something is. I will ask for a hint next time :)

  • Actually I reckon the hint thing is worth a shot. Up for 7 days then a hint, another 6 days then another hint, another 5 days then the location. That way it'll flow n people will get to learn about Manchester.

  • Old (and sideways): that bit at the end of Chorlton Green that people like to run through when a bike isn't blocking the entrance

  • New:

  • Nice. Those MCR bees get everywhere. I know where this is but I'll leave it for somebody else in the spirit of non-thread-hoggingness.

  • Old

  • Where was it? Just out of interest

  • Ayres Road, end near the tram stop/cricket ground

  • The art work and skill on the bees is amazing.....what's it say in 3D?

  • Just realised my new tag is a repost, @c0gsucker used the war museum a couple of years ago

    Here's the alternate...
