Hakkasan 3 course lunch menu yesterday for my birthday, went for the pork belly, and added a softshell crab starter as I wanted to try something else too.

I'd like to go back and try everything on the menu, it was so nice.

Go on a sunday. Little dim sum, little chinese and a few cheeky cocktails. decent

Me and Simon went somewhere with great massive cheap portions of brisket. Think it was called Trof.

Can anyone recommend a Sunday pub roast in SW (ideally Clapham Junction, Vauxhall, Wansworth Common, Battersea Park sort of way).

I'm thinking Canton on South Lambeth Rd. Any advance?

Canton trumps most IMHO.

Does anyone know any cheap/inexpensive places to eat for dinner in West Hampstead?

EDIT: went to the Forest Gate Inn, ended up being a beer garden and ploughmans sort of day and it was an extremely good choice for such a thing!

I'm late to this, but yes to the Canton Arms, also have a think about Tulse Hill Hotel, went there for sunday lunch/dinner and twas really good. Went for the braised neck of lamb, fell off the bone...

Went to the Canton, was very good as always.
Never thought of the THH, might try one day. Ta.

food was amazing, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. If you get the chance go! Though staff did tell us it does get busy friday and saturday, and as there aren't many tables best to get there earlier rather than later..

Friend is going there this week, I'll warn her.

I went to Mr Bao on Peckham Rye the other day. Pretty good!
