  • Aight so i need a bit of help.

Im ordering a frame from Robert, and really want a tapered headtube.
Robert has asked what 'kind/standard tapered headset i want to use'
Im not exactly a bike expert guy, so could someone explain what he means?

Thanks a lot, and sorry about all the text - i know i for one prefer looking at the pictures:)

Also, can i use normal forks, or do i need special tapered forks?

  • you need to decide what type of headset to use with your tapered fork.

A straight 44mm headtube will take a tapered steerer using zerostack top and an external-cup bottom. Codes ZS44/28.6 and EC44/40.

If you want invisible headset at the bottom too, you'll need a tapering headtube.
