I know what it means, thanks. I have never worn the shoes. I put the Cleats on, intending to line them up according to my cleat fitting, then mould them after removing the Cleats, then break them in.
It's what I do with all my Heat Mouldable Shoes (I've had several pairs).
I didn't get past stage one, as I'm still riding my Northwaves and Shimanos. I had 5 pairs of shoes (3 unused), and I don't need or want to take them to our new home, so I'm selling everything that's uneeded.
Absolutely nothing wrong with threads or anything else on the shoe.
