  • That last picture is awesome. What camera?

  • Projcct 76

    :x

  • Fuji x-pro 1 with a 35mm f1.4

  • Are you trying to make me very jealous?

  • You sponsored by Instagram? ;)

  • Got new items, Thomson Stem, my Spare Di2 6870 groupset, and a thomson collar.

Both of my wheels for some reason went out of true and now both tyres are scratching on the brakes, my fault for forcing these tyres when I know already that it's already too tight of a clearance. Might go down to 27c or maybe stick with the good old 25's , as I cant be arsed to get wheels that are slightly out of true to create this problem. Anybody interested in some 30c challenge strada biancas? These will be great on disc frames. Thinking of letting both of them go for £65 seeing that a single tyre sells for £50 brand new.

  • dibs red22 ;)

  • It's already sold to @TomvanHalen :p

  • Got this a couple of weeks ago, loving it so far but that ridiculous spacer is doing my head in. Does anyone know of a source for a low stack cover for a 2012 CAAD 10? Is this correct? http://www.cannondalespares.com/Cannondale-Road-Headset-5mm-Top-Bearing-Cover--KP253/product_detail/3-40270

    Also, cheap carbon bottle cages?

  • low stack cover, @mdcc_tester sells them, got my one off him

  • A novice question, are all the CAAD frame & forks in a particular range the same eg. are the frame/forks on a CAAD8 105 the same as a CAAD8 Claris? Would all CAAD10's be the same?
    Thanks.

  • caad 10: THey should be all the same yeh, it's just the groupset and paintjob that changes. I've heard from somebody that the fork changes once you get to ultegra and above. Not sure if true though.

  • Thanks, I'd hit him up just now but the thread looked dead so I needed a back up. Turns out he has loads!

  • No, the lower frames in the range tend to have BSA bb and aluminium steerer fork and possibly less fancy frame - Caad 8 Claris frame is 'Aluminium' 105 version is 'Optimised 6061 Aluminium' - I've no idea of the real world difference. My winter bike is a Synapse Claris frame with 11spd 105 and it's a cracking bike. You can see the specs on the Cannondale site.

  • This.

Claris and Sora got good old threaded BB.

Tiagra et all get the BB30.

    That's about it really.

  • A friend got this on Gumtree for 400 Australian dollars!

  • amazing value for £25!

  • Also, cheap carbon bottle cages?

I've got these on my caad12

    look around for cheapest price

build quality seems to vary a bit (I ordered 3 and one was off)

  • Small update of the Slate, I've managed to drop the weight at 8,8kg (size Large) by changing a few things and going tubeless.
It's an awesome bike, worth every euro and every bike I had to sell. I've been very frustrated with my CX, which didn't inspire me any confidence in technical trails, the Slate really is a good answer, forgiving my average, mediocre skills.
The panaracer tires are very good on the road and dry trails, in the mud it's another story, I really like the uncontrolled skid feeling but I might consider some Schwalbe G-Ones if the weather doesn't change...

    New parts :
    DT xr331 on 240s
    Ritchey carbon trail seatpost
Hope floating rotors / hope bar-end plugs for the bling
    Syntace X12 axle
    Arundel side cages

If anyone has this, I'm seeking for a CAAD, from 6 to 12, size 58 !

  • amazing value for £25!>

Such old jokes. Your pound is weaker than a builders tea.

(currently hoping the aussie dollar bombs so I can finally transfer my GBP back here...)

  • Haha, zing.

@TRA - I'm in a constant state of flux (along with the exchange rate), waiting for pay checks in England to hit before transferring to AUD. Ballache.

  • anywhere I can get some cable guide frame inserts for a caad10? / anyone got any spares

  • How the hell do you thread the top tube rear brake cable?

I've spent almost an hour trying to push it through, pulling it back, pushing again, nothing.

where are my fucking wireless brakes
