I've been swapping emails with Brian and am very impressed so far: quick, informative replies and flexible on spec.
Unfortunately, but understandably, he can't use the rim and hub I sourced for the rear so I'll be getting a Revo 2 but using the Wide Boy rim (which he has manufactured to order) and the 7600 hub from the Revo 1 for £450.
Considering my particular requirements (wide clincher rim, fixed hub, 46mm chainline), I'm more than happy. Being from an independent, UK manufacturer with Brian's racing pedigree is the cherry on the top!
I'm paying a premium over a RALTech set-up, but for a "true" disc I think that's quite reasonable. Aside from the fact that RT aren't currently manufacturing, my limited experience of them suggests they're not quite a "fit & forget" solution.
I'll have the money together on 24th and lead time is two weeks...
