Bont Vaypor Plus Size 11 / eu 46 Wide fitting

Bought these but turned out they were too big, haven't been worn on a bike by me, and had barely been worn by the guy before. Would like what I paid - £70 ---> only £60!!

Amazingly light, oven remoldable shoes. RRP is £250, these are some of the lightest, stiffest, most comfortable road shoes our there. Wish they fit me as they're incredible things.

Do you know how the size compares with Sidi?

I have these wide vapour +'s, but in black (and wide old flippers) and they are prefect.

I have Sidi dominator MTB shoes and compared to the Bont jobs, they are quite a bit narrower IMO

I tend to 'pop' the front Velcro strap off on my Sidis due to the pressure of my foot on it (they are old too) where as on the Bonts there's no noticeable pressure on the lower, wider bit of the foot.

Unscientific, but hopefully helpful.

The bonts come up wider - they've got a much more natural fit as well, more room for the toe box etc

Thanks for the response - would you say that, width apart, if you are 46 in Sidi you would be 46 in Bont as the size guide on their website isn't clear (to me at least)?

Yep, but you also get some added space for difference because you put these in the oven to really mould them to your feet.

I wear the same size in Bonts as I do in Sidis. The Bonts are wider though, as @Ecobeard says.

you could always buy them, if they don't fit just sell them on...

Christ, why has no one bought these? If I was a 46, I'd buy them - and I've already got a pair of Vaypor S!

Ok so here's my confusion with Bonts. I'm a UK12 and I wear a 49 in the Vaypors. Have Bont changed how they size their shoes since I bought these about a year ago?

I've done the bont sizing calculator and it tells me I need a 46 standard width, anyone any feedback on comparing the wide and standard width shoes?
I normally wear a 45 in giro shoes and find them a nice fit.
