Me and my mate have been discussing exactly this sort of thing. Then travelling around the local descents nicking KOMs.

Have to say my 110mm of front suspension gets used more than my dropper. So the dropper/ rigid fork combo confused me a litlle.

Its Bright yellow though so is awesome.

Seatstays meet the dropouts at the wrong angle and the whole seattube cluster area is full of wtf.

Please enlighten us on the rights and wrongs of seatstay angles 😸

The dropout was designed for a wider angle between the stays. That complaint is mostly aesthetic.

As for the seattube cluster, it looks like they haven't done any FEA.

Just bought myself a fatty, 2016 Electra fat lux 7d for posing on, big 3.5" slicks get upto a decent speed on tarmac, its purely for comfort and posing as i am waiting spine surgery and it still hurts my back so have ape hanger bars ordered and a Brooks B190 saddle and grips. More to come soon!

Hello Fatties! Cringe Hoping you can help me out with something. Going to be moving to Norway soon sometime mid next year as GF wants to move back closer to her family. Anyway, winter in Norway can be really really thick so I'm thinking of getting a fatbike so I can still cycle during the winter months. Now my question is, do you have any recommendations? Budget wise, maybe no more than £1000. Will it be cheaper to ebay the parts/frame and build it from scratch or just get a full bike brand new?
I'm looking at different websites at the moment but most of the bikes I saw are really expensive. Some are cheap which makes me question why. I dont have any experience with these types of bikes, first fatbike i saw was @JB's.
