Me? I've uploaded the proof of postage so now I just need to wait for paypal to review it and sort out the refund

Good luck.

Cheers.
This experience has shown me that even if you are covered by paypals goods and services, getting your money back is still a ballache... Will be more cautious in the future, especially with buying outside the eu

Hopefully someone slaps him/her with a big inflatable dick...
I don't get why he should be rewarded for his dishonesty.

I purchased a rim labeled as NOS on ebay a few months ago. When it arrived it was a bit grubby, but there were no scratches and no wear to the braking surface. I gave a good look over, but it wasn't until I finally got around to lacing it up today that I noticed two eyelets directly opposite each other on the rim have very small cracks around them. Firstly, is it possible for eyelets to crack without a rim being laced? Unfortunately I received the rims about 6 weeks ago so I feel the seller would be within his/her rights not to refund me, but is it at least worth asking for one?

... is it at least worth asking for one?
Of course, why wouldn't it be?

PayPal allows 180 days from date of transaction to raise a dispute.

Difficult to prove the cracks were there before you built it.

10 days ago I made a purchase (£360) with the promise of despatch as last Saturday (having paid an extra £10 for insurance) - I have heard nothing in these 10 days, despite a couple of polite reminder PM's.
Is it justified to call this out as a bad trade?

Submit a paypal claim and that will probably end the silence.

As above: the thought of losing their money, tends to prompt people into action.

I paid via the Friends option figuring someone who has been on here a while, and does contribute, would be trustworthy. Lesson learned I guess.

Has this been sorted out?

Name and shame. Has he/she been posting?
-
• #4144
Name and shame is harsh.
Do name, because someone on here might know them irl and be able to help sort it.
But don't shame yet, there could be all sorts of legit reasons behind the delay.

No, fuck me
Just checked it on PayPal and it's been closed, I didn't even get an email about it? Just spoken to them and I can make an appeal but apparently what I was told last week was bullshit and proof of postage isn't enough. It either has to be delivered or I need documentation that the seller isn't paying customs fees (which I don't actually know is the case or not). I've made an appeal and have 10 days to either sort the delivery or sort the customs situation.
Problem is all the postage company has given me is a phone number for Korean customs, a reference number and then told me to get the reciever to call. Such a fucking joke.
Korean customs have an English site but I can't find any way to send an email.
Fucking paypal

Well can you not forward them your communication with the guy where he's saying he won't accept it?
