I've just ordered one of those locks with an alarm. If I'm going to carry one, I might as well have the alarm - as long as I don't keep setting it off myself and end up tossing it and having no lock as a result.
And I've given Amy's new bike fund a small donation as a karma payment for all the times I've left mine unlocked and not had it nicked.
