  • Nice. I love the cinematic qualities.

Are chromes a bitch to scan? I've never done it.

  • Portra 400

(new light-seal material on order – i think it's missing material around the prism that's causing these ghosts)

  • I scan using an imacon and then do the final colour balance in colorperfect. It's a sod, I won't lie

  • Well that's a scanner that can handle them I guess.

Anyone want to swap a pile of digital cameras for a Noritsu?

  • Cinestill. Get the light right and the world is a good place.

  • Right, I need the help of the hive...

I've been talked into doing a friends wedding. I've done all the "manage expectations" stuff, and I'm confident I can do it, BUT...

Spare Body. Since I'm using a rather ancient DSLR I have no backup body. So I was going to use film for the backup. No problem I thought. I've got a wide range of 35mm cameras, and some of them even use the same lenses, but the newest is 20 years old. So.. then I thought I could use the Mamiya 645 for the formal, posed, photographs. It would look proper professional like. Okay, I've just answered my own question.

I'm just laying out the kit, and starting to think "fuck it", I'll do it all on on the canonet Giii. One camera, one flash, and a tripod.

    Worried.

  • Mint. I've bought a couple of rolls for some night life shots. Only prob is I've realised my gr1s won't work as their lcds are dead. Anyone recommend a good compact I can manually set iso? My Hexar is too big. My Leica too Leica. Contax T2 is the missus' really. Anyone?

  • Nikon L35AF

(make sure to get one of the newer models that let you choose ISO up to 1000 instead of only 400)

  • Amazing. Will check it out. Your forum name has me confused. This is the Tina right? We're connected on fb and LinkedIn too? Or am I going mad? I owe you a message if so...
