Khan is damaged goods. He better take a year out at least before he gets in the ring again or he risks serious permanent damage and also a high probability of getting knocked out again.

He's like a broken record. He has the tools to win fights but either refuses to listen, gets tired or want's to try and prove again and again he can stand toe to toe with fighters. He just can't keep his glove up. If he fought the way he did for the first three rounds he stood a decent chance against Canelo. He didn't. He stopped moving he stayed in front of Canelo too often and let Canelo into the fight and surprise surprise he got caught flush on the chin again. I think it's a combination of having an awful defense and not being able to take a heavy punch. He hadn't fought in a year which perhaps didn't help him either. The same thing has been happening for 10 years.

What a peach of a punch.

It was a beauty of a punch. Looking at it in slow motion I'm still not entirely sure what Khan is actually doing pushing out two hands at Canelo leaving his chin exposed.

Two hands has got nothing to do with it - if his right had been by his chin he would still have been spark out. He let Alvarez take that little step to him so he was in range for a fucking right. No sideways or backwards movement, didn't slip...

Thing is Khan was getting a million a round at that weight.
6 million fo a ko anyone? #BloodMoney

Except it doesn't work out like that. He will be paying out his corner and entourage out of that presumably, plus he trains hours and hours for every round in the ring, so it's nothing like £6 million for 18 minutes. Still a lot of money.

Brutally efficient KO. Unfortunately Khan left himself wide open to it and as Markyboy rightly says had no defensive contingency.
Stayed up to watch this (Mrs caught me head-nod sleeping on the sofa at 03:30). Heart wanted Khan to win, head said it would be a KO and not Khan's. Head was right.

Khan - Brave/Foolhardy. I could never believe he'd go 12 rounds and I don't think his camp did either. The fact there was that feeling from within was hardly going to help.
That was a clean, devastating blow that caught him flush and was always on the cards if he stayed within range, which he started to.Crolla on the other hand. Brutal.

Alfie at the Lodge earlier. Gets his nose cauterised on Saturday to stop the nose bleeds, which have been a standing joke when he's sparring.

Anyone else enjoy the Kell Brook GGG fight as much as I did?
I knew GGG would win but Kell Brook done himself no harm with his solid performance just didnt have the natural power of a middle weight boxer as well as a busted eye socket. -

It was relentless.

Khan vs Pacquiao is happening!
I'm not buying into the glass chin argument. That punch would have taken anyone down and he took some flush on the chin in the earlier rounds where he wobbled but recovered OK.
I like to watch Khan and if Hunter can get his defence tighter I can't see why he wouldn't be able to get a belt or two at 147lb.
