Hi there, I just wanted to post an update on my urban cycling range

I've just launched a men's range of trousers and shorts and have created a discount code for LFGSS people. LFGSS25 will get you 25% off anything and everything until Friday 10th June.

It's all designed and made in London. I started off doing only women's wear, but have branched out little by little. I used the women's forum on here to gather information and feedback when I was starting out, so wanted to give something back :)

Whats the inside leg length for the trousers? have you got any pics of them just laid out flat? I do quite like them.

I saw those pics. But was wondering if there are pics when they are just laid flat, not bunched up etc. maybe its just me and how I prefer to look at something if I have to buy online.

I rate them! I've been told that as its a new season I should be buying a new trousers and shorts. (I've never heard such crap before) but I probs will get both trousers and shorts haha

The discount also puts these in the same ballpark as the trousers in Vulpine's current sale - but of course you're unlikely to find anything that fits in a Vulpine sale unless you're Yao Ming or Peter Dinklage.

@VelocityGB do you have any plans to bring out a 3/4 short for men?

Hi @The_Seldom_Killer... No plans at the moment. But never say never!

Hi @Hamham... They are a real pain to photograph flat! The cut means that the seams are slightly curved, so they fit better for cycling, but they won't lie properly flat. If you have a look at the women's product shots, I managed to get them a bit flatter. Although the styles are different, it might give you a better idea.

Inside leg is 34in, but if you drop us an email we can shorten them if need be.

The amount of times I buy trousers and send them back because everyone on earth uses their own, sometimes wild, interpretations of what a 32" waist constitutes...

Are the hi vis details that bold in regular daylight, or was there a camera flash bringing them out? Not sure how I'd feel about apparent big white lines on my black shorts.

Like that they have a proper high back btw. My swrve jeans can get a bit cleavagey.

Hi @b&d, yes, i'm just putting a fit guide together - will get it online on Monday. They should be pretty accurate though - because one of the guys who helped me design and test them had the same issue!

HI @Jezston, we did use a flash for all the images - to try and bring out the detail. So, the reflective trim is a little more pronounced in the photos. That said, the trim is silver, so it definitely does stand out on the black. I've had some female customers who prefer the grey for that reason - because it doesn't really stand out so much. We've got some grey shorts in production at the moment, they should be available within the month.

Interested in the trousers but wondering how tight they are around the legs. Not a fan of the skinny fit look, and have difficulty finding trousers that fit around the cyclist legs. Any advice?

Hi @swmlon.. what size would you be looking at - I can send you thigh and calf measurements. Honestly though, if you have sprinter's thighs you may find them too tight.

Hi there @bazschmaz... We can shorten them for you if you supply us with measurements and give us a few extra days. We can't take returns on them if they have been shortened though (unless of course you encounter faults or manufacturing failures and then we will exchange them for you). Many thanks, Carolyn

I'm going to try to take some credit for the extended discount btw, because I asked for it :)

Got the shorts yesterday and rode home in them. Initial review as follows:

1. Comfortable, flexible.
   
2. Material is relatively thin by jeans standards, but does feel quite tough. Hope it lasts.
   
3. I need to lose weight. The higher waist with my belly means the 32" involve a breath in compared to my other jeans.
   
   

Going to think today about ordering some full lengths.
