To be honest, while I'm up for a bit of company (hence the offer) I don't really want to turn it into a open event. I need the points and it is for my RRTY, I don't really fancy leading a bunch of underprepared fixie biek riders on what is a pretty tough route. I know you have done the distance before so know what to expect.

reckon the legs could muster another 800m of climbing on July 2nd, pending an early night on the Friday!!
ps., agree about the chain gangs, was a little surprised to see so many at the 8am start time, though did spot (and chat to) one of our own - @balmain - amongst the Chiswick folk, :-)
pps., is it worth posting up the 2nd July DIY Shark attempt as a ride in the Rides and Races thread, to attract a proper indy/audax vibe?!
