That looks mad in a good way.

What is even more mad is today it has done the post run. Nothing like carrying a mail bag to the post office with the rumble of deep carbon wheels.

I only wish it was purple Klein did a purple version that makes me weak at the knees. They also did a metallic orange and on my. I only wish there where companies making bikes with that kind of paint now I suppose it is just too expensive.

Are you refering to the purple to pink fade paint job?
If so, I can totally relate to the weakness of your knees since I had a similar experience when I first laid eyes on my Olmo Scatto which has a rather similar paint job.

I did a nice set of wheels for customer with nice purple Quantum (it was when I saw this bike I knew I had to have one) but sadly his frame cracked.

My Trek 8900 compositie. I have a bit of a fetish for 90's bikes especially bonded frames. Carbon tubes bonded into alloy or steel is a bit special to me. This Trek has an XTR M950/1 groupset including BB, brakes, cassette. The chain however is KMC. The seat post is PMP titanium and the bars and stem are Icon Graphite. Pace RC31 forks I weighs 9.5kg but is not finished yet. I have a set of grey Wobler 26" tubular rims and some period Vittoria tubulars, a couple of Geax tubular and some schwable racing ralph tubs too. At some point I will start riding it again.
It is about time i took somd resonable photos of all my bikes if only for insurance purposes. Over the next few weeks i will clean all 17 of them and try to take photos that are not rubbish. I will fail of course.
Here is the latest bike. I did not need it but i had all the parts sittkng in a box or hanging up doing nothing and then a forum member posted this Look Kg221 and we did a deal for the bike a dura ace seatpost, Mirage headset, for a pair of wheels built up onto hubs he spplied.
Unfortunatley the chorus chainset fotted would not come off and had to be destroyed and give how close these get to the frame the record bb did not survive either. This was a shame. Still happy with it.
Look kg221 with 32F/32R Mavic Gel 280 rims on Novatec A171/F172 Hubs, Vittoria Corsa SC tubular tyres, shimano rx100/rsx sti's groupset, modolo quill stem, Campagnolo mirage headset, 3TTT forma bars and a Sella Italia Flite saddle. Weight 9.11kg.
