Saw the profile which looked flat and thought I'd do it fixed
I find really flat rides seem harder (on the arse) fixed as there's little need to get out of the saddle.
Luckily for you the Fairies Flattest 300 isn't completely flat, there are still a few lumps to get you out of the saddle every so often. It was my first 300 (on fixed too) and formed the latter half of my first 600 (I did 300km to the start it to make it into a DIY 600).

Glad I didn't come across any reports of it being hard or it might have put me off. Saw the profile which looked flat and thought I'd do it fixed and have a crack at the fixed SR.
