  • UK Disti is beyond appalling, in my experience.

  • I think I've given them too much credit in the past; however relative to the Europe / Holland distro of yesteryear they are an improvement in so much that they reply to emails from the public and will sell you special tooling

  • Basically, if you don't like pain with your pleasure, buy a Trek instead

  • In other news I have just spent a fortune on paint.

  • Fade-O-rama, coming soon to a spray booth near you.

  • I can help with funds towards the paint job - read your messages.

  • I have just spent a fortune on paint.

Is the Klein stuff even more expensive than Chromoflair?

  • No. Nothing's more expensive than Chromaflair. I've got 500ml sitting here, and it was expensive even at half price.

  • It isn't per pot, but when pots=many it rapidly becomes so. One pot of neon is around half the price of a pot of chromaflair, but the neons need a special clearcoat as well.

  • You also need to factor in the cost of a full respray in about 6 months when it's faded to shit.

  • Thats only if you want to ride it in the sun though.
It will be fine if you only ride it in the dark and store it in a room with no windows.

  • They call me the Midnight Rider.

  • TBH I've hardly ridden a bike this year, twenty quids worth of Ikea blackout blinds and my neon paint will be perfect for centuries.

  • I'm sure it will be fine. Just dont leave it in direct sunlight.
Neon bikes that get used heavily inevitably look like an old Dynorod van after a year or so.

  • dibs.

  • you say it like it's a bad thing?

  • Funnily enough, some bike like the Specialized have sticker on it saying the neon colour will look better with ages and is designed to look that way.

Interesting way of claiming it fade on purpose.

  • Every time someone posts a fluro Klein, it makes me very jealous.

  • Oh Lordy!

  • Looks OK I guess

  • I mean HOLY SHIT

  • Hah! I can't wait to see it. Is anyone going to be travelling between Crystal Palace and Soho next week who could take the frame from Talbot to Sohobikes? If not I'll get it couriered, I just have nightmares of the DPD guy standing on it in its box...

  • Very cool. How hard was it to spray, did they say?
