I think you're on a hiding to nothing: the idea of a lightweight 1/8" chain is counter-intuitive, bearing in mind their intended use.
As is 1/8" for a "weight-optimized singlespeed build": a 3/32" drivetrain should be item no.1 on your checklist.
I've done hill climbs with a nine speed chain.
If you're keeping your 1/8" drivetrain, trying to save weight with the chain is pretty pointless.
