Just curious, how is the 38 x 11-42 working out for you in Norway? Planning a trip next year and wondering if we should go 1x or not.
How do you know it's 11-42? AFAIK, this is standard setup from AWOL, which has 36 as a bigger sprocket - plus, you see it's about the same size as the front ring, hence...
Yea, @scorch is right. This is still the original 11-36, which is too heavy. I have ordered a Sunrace 11-42 though, looking forward to trying it.
