Thanks for that. I think the Park Tool one is a bit thicker, so that's why it doesn't fit. The VAR one seems perfect, but a bit hard to find.
I think you can take the smallest cog off the freewheel with two chain whips and then be able to fit the cone spanner in to remove it. Otherwise, will try taking the locknut off from the nds, but it's hard to get a grip on the drive side one. Anyway, it's all a bit of a ball ache. I don't understand why they make the tools thick enough that they won't fit over the locknut.
The VAR Regina freewheel remover tool can be used over the locknut in most wheels, if I recall correctly. Other, mostly old, Regina freewheel removers usually require to undo the locknut.
