My Fauxley frogskins are OK. Very close to the originals bar 1/2 small details. Lenses are not polarised but I would not use them for riding anyway, they are my normal sunglasses

I've gone for the 'expensive' option at £9 which have supposedly polarised lenses. Will see what comes in the post

I need some new sunnies. I want big lenses, that come up above eyebrows, so when in tri bars I can see up the road.
They also need to be tough. My jawbones have lasted years of abused and 1 mega crash. What's good? That isn't jawbreaker.

Nose piece on my fake POC's is adjustable - means you can move the glasses up and down in relation to your eyes pretty significantly, so if you are going to be bent over looking up they could be a good choice. Seem pretty tough so far but I've not really put that to the test at all.
The lenses did seem foggy at first, but repeated cleaning seems to have resolved that.

Yeah do wonder about the lenses in fake glasses.
Tempted by those new oakleys I just seen EVZERO.
Like transition lenses as good for riding at night. So my eyeballs don't freeze and cry. -

I also like my fake POCs. But I think I like my real Raphas more, less noticeable in use. Poo/bronze lens really is very good.

Got to finally wear my new Radar EVs yesterday... love em! Was gonna go for black frames and black iridium lenses but punted for lumi green with blue/red lenses, might get some clear lenses when I'm in the US for winter riding

Anyone had to repair their Fauxley Jawbrekers ? Mine have a popped a screw out on the hinge holding the left arm in. Should a high street optician be able to sort ?

Happened to me with two pairs now. One pair I didn't lose the pin and just 'fixed' it myself. The other pair I lost the pin, so got my money back through Aliexpress. Would be interested to know if it can be fixed too.

I have a second pair of POC's - the blade I think they are, slightly better QC in some areas (decals) but don't feel as sturdy as the others. Much Bogan, I like them.
-
• #588
Sorry, new ones are half blade - so I have full and half. Half's are, surprisingly, smaller.

Took them to a local Vision Express and a nice man fixed them for me for free. Popped a screw in instead of a pin and seems to be holding quite well.
Fauxley Frogskins turned up in the post today and seem quite nice. Matt black frames with polarised lenses, seem a bit sturdier than the Fauxley Jawbreakers. If they don't start ejecting random bits of the glasses after a week I might order a second pair.

Tempted to get a second pair of fake POC blades just for the extra lenses. Could do With yellow/Clear.

joakleys turned up today. bit plasticky but think the lenses are polarised. not sure how they compare to the real deal but

Can you post a link to the fakeoakleys you purchased? Ta

Looking for a replacement lens for my Oakley radars - there seem to be a zillion lens shape variants, will they all work with my frames?
Also - this whole prizm thing; any good?
-
• #594
Don't know if it's prizm thing, but I actually have better contrast on lower brightness settings on my Garmin with them on vs other sunnies.

Also happy with Fake POC blades. Frame quality seems very good, better than my fauxkleys, the lenses do have the same very slight distortion that my fauxkleys have, and my genuine Oakleys don't. They are very large and quite a nice change from jawbones, almost feels like wearing ski goggles.

Anyone know if a Radar Path EV lens will fit in a regular Radar frame?

Dita Grandmaster Five Navy/Gold

They are certainly a little on the challenging side.
Thanks both. Have gone double Faukley and ordered a pair of 'Frogskins' and a pair of 'Jawbreakers' from Aliexpress to try them out.
