• Depends how quick he was cycling though doesn't it?
    He may not get to work any quicker than you - but if he's really really slow then jumping the lights does speed up his journey.
    Surely at the very least jumping reds gives you the theoretical chance of speeding up your journey.

  • +1, there used to be a guy on my commute who was ridiculously slow, but NEVER stopped. He rode an absolutely battered mtb with wheels wobbling all over the place... it was quite funny. I was generally finding myself overtaking him as he'd always get in front of me.
