I used to have an Astra and I bought roofrack for it from Halfords and I rememeber at the time it was an exact copy of the Thule.
It's lockable at each contact point.
I'll nip up the shed tonight when the kids go down and see if I can find all the bits, if you're interested?
It was this style of bar (plastic coated rectangular galvanised steel) not the more modern alloy style.
