You can't really tell what's going on underneath at the join. The Carbon and the Aluminium don't play nice together over time and because of the way they are bonded together it was difficult to isolate the join between the two materials to stop galvanic corrosion.
And I don't think they were expecting these frames to still be around and in use, so buy at your own risk and keep an eye on it.
Rad frames though, but you may struggle to get modern - wide - wheels in the rear the end (fnar)
Just aquired. Very very excited, but can someone offer their opinion on the hairlines around the joins? I've read a lot that this is just par for the course with these frames.
Seller has 18000+ positive feedbacks and claims its in good condition to I'm hoping for the best here....
