how hard do we think it would be for a notive DIY-er to lay a new patio of sandstone of about 9m squared?
ive ripped up the old patio and the base appears to be generally level but sloping away from the house (which is what I want)
I think with sandstone it needs to be laid on a wet mix instead of a sand/cement dry mix and you cant dot and dab it. so I guess its just a case of taking a guide line and making sure its all level.
someone at work also said I should put a membrane down underneath?
what can go wrong?
