Cut away all the cracked carbon to make it a flow model.
If you make a nice clean cut you will prevent the cracks from developing further. -

Dremmel along the lines of the cut out, sanding down the edges, epoxy to the edges and then sanding it down smooth again would be an interesting try. But then I have no experience with cutting or reparing carbon...

Looking decent mate. Will you be just firing clear coat straight on top or wet sanding with 800 paper before coating? Just wondering as I'll be tackling stencil spraying this week and debating whether to sand or not.

I've been thinking about building up a touring specific bike for a while and have yet to move beyond DT shifters. Must haves:
- Stiff rear triangle for BOB trailer
- Mudguards
- Big tyres (38-42)
- Modern-ish groupset
Any thoughts on this? Could look good with the chromed stays and polished SS mudguards http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-steel-Bob-Jackson-Super-Tourist-Frame-23-1-2-/162082660552?hash=item25bce120c8:g:mREAAOSwY0lXRbGQ

Ghetto hydration solution thrown together this morning to deal with a sudden heat wave. Expecting it to last as long as the weather

Weird, ratty and cheap materials. But says Bianchi and has horizontal dropouts hmm
Going to fit a coaster brake wheel on this. -

It'll make a mess of your frame, you want something like a bit of innertube between the cage and the frame.

is that one of them sick old langsters?

• #108346
I know man. This was really just an emergency solution thrown together for today. I had two of these with an inner tube underneath before which worked ok. Made a mess of the cage and bottles though, still better than the frame.

First ever bike build. Loved it, now just planning on how to upgrade the wheels and where else I can waste my hard earned money!
