  • Genius is great tubing..very lightweight. When talking to a few framebuilders in the past, they didn't recommend it for a heavier rider using it because it is quite thin.

    Also, if it's going to be an every day street bike that's going to be constantly locked to stuff/ridden hard, you might want to reconsider since it's one of the easier frames to dent. My friend had a Samson Genius frame and he said it was a magnet for small dents..but he loved it still.

    I believe Genius is 0.7 / 0.4/ 0.7 which is about the same as Kasei 017
    Very light but not sure how I would feel about day-to-day street use.
