@Tonts; I have a similar issue after breaking left ankle many years ago. Right leg is bigger and stronger, right knee is creaky, and hamstring is tighter. I'd be interested in any info you may gather.
Cheers
Chas
PS, I've had a bike fit, it helped. Basically had to raise the bars to the point where my right knee could keep in a straight line at the top of the pedal stroke.
In late 2014 I tore/strained/generally buggered my left knee ligaments playing footy. As a result I started to put a lot more weight on my right leg to the extent that my right thigh is noticeably larger than my left. Whenever I cycle over about 20 miles, I get lower back/hip pain on my right side and bit of pain in my left calf (this is always after the ride, during I generally feel ok).
Would a good bike fit sort me out, or should I see a physio first?
