    Reminded me of the concrete slabs they use across the Po valley in Italy, as brutal as that.

    At least 3 times I was sure I'd punctured and was just praying no, especially in the last 30min.

    Also @umop3pisdn informed me the E2/100 is now all motorway! No single carrigeway. So get your entries in, going to be fast! Closes tomorrow I think.

    Underneath the tarmac, it is concrete slabs, that's why the ruts run across the road at regular intervals. The tarmac sinks into the expansion joints between the slabs.

  • Ah, that explains that. Like in Belgium too. But there it's wide and you wheels can get stuck in the cracks if your not careful. Horrible stuff.
