Man, I walked past twice with my boy.
If I'd known you were on such an endeavour I would've shouted some encouragement. -

Looking forward to hearing how you got on! As I was out today on a ride with a measley 1500m of elevation, I thought of you then thought I'd never be able to do that.

He's doing good. 2/3 the way through and no major complaints (aside from garmin death).. Looking fresh and has a bit of company. Should be done by 2-3am he says!!!

Made a little report in the 'Tell us about your weekend ride' thread for anyone that is interested...
Hello!
So, I've been doing some training... and tomorrow (Sunday 29th May) I'm planning to 'Everest' Telegraph Hill up Pepys Road in New Cross. That is, doing reps until I have climbed the equivalent of Mount Everest (8848m). It's going to take about 225 reps... The kicker is: I'm doing it on a fixed gear.
People are welcome to come do some reps with me to keep morale up and show some support. Or you can just spectate, take photos, film stuff, feed me vegan food, chat to me on breaks, cheer at the top of each rep... Planning on starting at around 5am-6am and hopefully finishing before the clock strikes midnight. There is a nice park at the top of the road to sit down and chill out in.
See ya on the flipside!
