Hah specialised make a tyre called Ground Control. Not sure you can get a xc tub version of it...

Reflex's are the classic cross rim, maybe a bit outdated now.

If you (or whoever's gluing them) is inexperienced in cross tubs I'd go for a wider rim (i.e the Major Tom) which will give you more glueing surface area.

Anyone know if the Cyclopark summer series is on too? Says it's cancelled on the BC site, and I find no information anywhere else.

Looks like it, alternating every week with the mtb series, which looks to be cancelled as well. Shame, as that course has enough features to stop it turning into a grass criterium, which is often the problem (or at least, my problem) with summer cross.

Rumour has it there's going to be a North London course for the London series, will be interesting to see where that'll be.

Bummer. Thought I had a race on this week...and an MTB race on next week :/

Ive been not training heavily all spring in anticipation of racing not very well.

There's always Beastway, though Redbridge is a bit of a pain by public transport during rush hour.
