Gilles B is lighter than Chromoplastic actually.

If your old mudguard rattle, then it's poor installation, saying that, with the alu VO mudguard, if you bodged it, it'll likely to snap.

Thanks Ed, Gilles B says >700g on PX website. Chromoplastics felt like quite a bit less but I didn't weight them or anything.

The clearance on my install seems ok, any tips for how I get the stays to hold the 'guard more firmly? All the rest of it is pretty secure.

New guards are for different bike.

700g for what sizes?

Chromoplastic is heavier due to stay.

Simply follow instruction and measure twice to fit the guard, the GB is the most reliable one on the list, chromoplastic second and VO third in term of bodging it.
