Theres your problem>So far your input is as useful as an ejector seat in a helicopter. Do you think you could elaborate just a micron?

What you mentioned is a job of a decent experienced framebuilder. They dont come cheap .. I would definitely contact Sam at Singular he can offer the service you mentioned and gets his frames made by Duratec.

At least one Russian military helicopter has an ejector seat. It requires the rotors to be jettisoned using explosive charges first, I believe, but if you're bailing out then I suppose you probably no longer need them.

guys, can a short stem "ruin" the handling of a road bike?
No.
Ignore the whole hubs bullshit, just fit a shorter stem that feel right (as in no longer stretched out and can easily keep your head up).

Dude, Mielec isn't one I'd go for, it'd be easier to have someone locally to do it for you.
Lastly, have you seen Omnium CXC?

Two if you count the Ka-50 and Ka-52 as separate entities. Not that they seem to do much good, apparently the only aircrew who have survived hull-loss incidents in either type did so as a result of an unplanned ejection :-)

Another pedal related question, do I want to use road pedals? My roadie mates reckon they're winners and I'll feel the stiffness difference, but after getting some bargain FIzik R3s which are fantastically comfortable and light, I realised that the ability to walk is not one of the many features. Or should I just go for some Giro Republic or similar and enjoy not looking like Bambi?

Roughly what area would be taken up if you connected and laid out all of the UK 1:25000 OS Explorer maps?

YES.

1/250002 of the area of the UK :-)
Allowing for the bits of sea which get included in the maps, that's probably about 400m2

Your roadie mates are wrong. If you have soft shoes, you'll probably feel the larger platform area as a less concentrated pressure, and if you tend to roll your feet (pronate/supinate) while pedalling you might like the wider support which mitigates that. If your pedals aren't bothering you, you don't have to change just to please some Freds :-)

@mdcc_tester
Thanks! You may have just sold them to me on the basis that I do tend to naturally pronate, So I might just get some cheap pedals and see how I feel.
Is Shimano/SPD SL definitely the way to go?

I'm looking for two films.
The first is about a a chap who records the sound of a car crash and it turns out to be a murder. I'm sure it'll had day stallone in...
The second is a shit sci-fi film, I think the plot was roughly miners on some planet find something. The thing I remember the most about it was that they used their tools as weapons, a digging machine with big rotating bits, and gun that fired flying drill bits that would dig into to the rock and explode.

Yeah, can't go wrong with PD-R550. You can go super-cheap with PD-R540 but you don't get the wide platform and steel wear plate of the new model

Try RattleCAD. The default modes start with fit parameters rather than frame component lengths/angles.

2nd one could be Outland?
They cut the bit where the breakaway gets caught at the traffic lights and the bunch catches them
