That's nice.
My miche is ok, but it's pressed, not lathed. So not as nice.

It goes straight on my noggin, no faff, tried it on, took it for a spin and it feels more planted on my back, so bought it, and rode a course pb - admittedly it was pretty much perfect conditions and I had a new skinsuit and I'm nearly back up to full power so it's not all down to the lid but it didn't slow me down!

• #13130
I must have a big head.
Well done on the PB!
-
• #13131
In fairness there is a definite knack to doing it, if you pull the head retention bit back with your thumbs then put it on from the back to the front it slips on, then push your ears back with your finger!
-
• #13132
Manage to do it with the visor in situ? That's probably the hardest part.

Ah, so that's what Danuta was doing to you for 5 minutes before you started your warm up.

Now I know why CTT insist on course codes, early starts, etc. It's a dogging club...
-
• #13135
Not to mention having a bum flap in your skinsuit.

• #13136
It all becomes clear...

It's not my website. I quit being TT secretary in part because the rest of the committee kept moaning about my listing the results properly :-)

• #13144
Committees got to moan. What they do.

Well done on your win Ed!

My first 25 tomorrow. Think my position is really bad, feels hard to sustain the power compared to riding in the drops. Also something weird going on with my hips. Any advice?
-
• #13148
Would be useful to see your heel drop. Lower the saddle a little?
I am not a beik fitter though...
-
• #13149
Thanks - I'll give that a go for starters.
New saddle so bit of trial and error going on.
-
• #13150
Hard to say for sure (without foot in view at bottom of stroke), but saddle too high/forward.
Power generation is also down to lack of time in position and thus poor muscle recruitment.
Also riding tt position on turbo can be nothing like on road. I hate my tt position on turbo, but on road I can put power down. So you need to test it on the road. Hi
Good ride!
I bought one from xx cycles in france. miche 110bcd
It's pretty good chainring. Not as nice as a lathed steel ring. Spa cycles might have a nice TA ring.
