Finally gets him off our payroll. Nice to see you going for an ex-Leicester double - both are well liked. Be nice to see you not bottle it next season so we can have out customary 6 points the season after.

Powell is a former Derby player too so there's decent club links there for people who care about the history rubbish. Pearson is also local, from Heanor, although I hear he grew up a Notts County fan. Anyway, I don't think we can make many more excuses for fucking up promotion now. He's a no-nonsense manager and that's what we've needed for a couple of seasons now.

He wasn't my first choice, but with Chris Powell as assistant I think we've done a great bit of business here. Just need to make sure we get someone good for recruitment.
